Our Story

Bridge Inn Saddlery is a small family business which was established in 2003 when we saw the need for a friendly, good value, local tack shop.  For over 20 years, we’ve proudly supported our local equestrian community with honest advice, trusted products, and a welcoming, no-pressure approach.

In 2012, we moved into our  purpose-built premises to offer even more choice to our growing customer base.

What We Offer

We’re here for every stage of your riding journey—from lead rein to lead changes! Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience, you’ll find a carefully selected range of everything you could possibly need.

And you don’t have to ride to shop with us! Our outdoor clothing range is ideal for dog walking, country life, or simply staying warm and dry in the great outdoors.

Alongside our wide product range, we’re proud to offer qualified, professional advice:

• Equine Nutrition – We’re able to provide expert, practical guidance on choosing the right feeds and supplements tailored to your horse’s needs.
• Worming Advice – We have a Registered Animal Medicines Advisor on site (RAMA), so we can help you make the right choices for responsible and effective worming.
• Hat & body protector fitting – all of our staff are trained to fit hats & body protectors. (Because safety equipment should be correctly fitted to provide the protection it is designed for we don’t believe anyone should be allowed to sell hats & body protectors on-line so we offer this service exclusively in-store).

We’re also proud members of the BETA (British Equestrian Trade Association) upholding the highest standards in customer care, product knowledge, and animal welfare.

We’re keeping things simple to start, bringing you our clearance and end-of-line bargains while we take our first steps into the online world! Just like in our shop, you can expect genuine deals, trusted brands and a friendly service. Stock is limited, so once its gone, it’s gone – but don’t worry, there’s more to come.
